    I have XP.

For the last week or so, when I close down my computer, I get that box saying "End Program- Available Networks" and then the message saying that if you chose to close it you could lose saved data or something.

I've had it happen with other things like some Spy sweeper or outlook, but never for something like my network stuff.

What causes that? Should I be concerned that it just started?

    Thanks.

    Is this a laptop?

And is the program the wireless network scanner?

    Do you use wireless networks?
Has a neighbour recently added a new one - check what is available when the pc is running and remove those you don't want or need.

    Thanks studiot. :)

I ended up updating my wireless network driver (there was one put up yesterday). That fixed the problem.

Now I just need to figure out how I get it back to windows controlling my wireless and not intel. :(

    Any clue?

ha! Nevermind...I figured it out...was actually easy. I love it when that happens!:D
