Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars wont load!

Hi,

ive had ETQW for a while now and now it wont boot up all i get is an error message "this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect - Reinstalling the program may fix the problem"
But after many uninstalls and patch upgrades is seems that it will not work.
i Googled to see if there was any others who had the problem message but i tried the instructions on many forums as well.

Im Stuck.... can some one help?:confused
