Enginnering Sample AMD64 3700 skt754

Does anyone know about this chip? In RMClock it is descrbed as an engineering sample and its maximum multiplier is 25!!!

Unfortunately, I bought a PCChips microATX board so I could have it in a media case and there are no overclocking settings at all

 

Okies, fiddled around with RMClock and it will take a 13x multiplier but shutsdown at 14x (instant black screen, multiple beeps - scary!!!)

So it will run at 2.6GHz... FSB anyone? I know there's some thing to fiddle around with to do with the HTT multiplier but I'm not sure what all that's about... yet...

 

Right - my XP2400 rig died so I've put the S754 CPU and mobo (ASUS K8V MX) together with my the old hard drives and X1950Pro.

Thing is - it's stuck at 4x multiplier!!
RM Clock 2.2 crashes the PC after about 5 minutes
SysTool crashes the PC as soon as a higher multiplier is applied

What's going on??
