English version of Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 ?

Is there an English version (trial) of Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 somewhere available for download?

I downloaded the trial from Panda's website and it is not in English. In fact it offers every other kind of language option except for English. And I also tried from another website and the same thing happened.

Note: Right now my computer is currently infested with the Trojan.DNSChanger in which I am working on getting rid of. Could that have something to do with it.

I'm trying to run the instructions from another site in which I need to re-set the router. The problem is, I don't own the router. I had got into a fight with the person who owns the router because he doesn't trust the information that I was given. So therefore I wasn't able to re-set it.

All of Panda's programs are in fact viruses themselves. I'm busy trying to remove Antivirus 2009 from a computer right now. If you google Antivirus 2009, you will come up with lots of suggestions for removing it and a sponsored link or two for downloading it. Please read the removal threads before you download it!

 

I figured out how to do it.

I had to manually "hack" into the files in order to get the english language.

1. Created a folder on my desktop.

2. Using WinRAR, extracted the Panda EXE into the folder

3. Opened up the language folder and deleted all of the languages except for English.

4. Opened up the Setup INI file using Notepad and deleted the text about languages.

5. Double clicked the Setup.exe

And Panda installed in English.

Outcome. Panda only found one virus on my computer which wasn't the Trojan.DNSChanger.

So I'm not to happy with it. All that work for nothing.

Oh, well. Off to try a different antivirus program.

 

It's probably all the viruses that I have on my computer that caused it.

While I respect your opinion and rarely use this site to post, I am a virus/malware removal tech for a major international company and have run into problems with this program repeatedly, as have many users. Microsoft considers it malware as do most experts. Use at your own risk! Being well known rarely makes something worthwhile in and of itself.

 

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. But I have been busy. Anyway. I got a fix for my Trojan.DNSChanger problem. I had to manually change my IP and DNS addresses and now all is well. :-D
