Enlarging text problem

    When I increase the size of the font size from the page Im on(in their,increase font size),I keep getting"send error message to windows"then all the explorer pages close ,this is just very recent.
    Help please.
    Im using Windows Xp

    Although it says Vista, this is the procedure for XP also from what I read. I do not have IE 7 installed and do not use it to browse so I'm rusty on what to do in IE.

    You didn't mention what version of IE you are using. I could not find anything for IE8.

    I have IE 6.
    here is my problem:
    To change the text size on a Web page:
    Select the Page menu.
    Point to Text Size.
    Select your choice of Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, Smallest text sizes.
    When I do that on a web page the computer seizes and closes down all the .ie. pages after I get an error message?:confused

    Are you sure you have IE 6? I just fired up my XP which has IE6 and there is no page menu. To change the text size in IE6, you click on
    View, then Text Size and simply click the size you wish.

    If you have a page menu then you IE is a mix of version 7 and 6 and that could be why you are getting an error.

    shows two ways to do a repair but it says that an XP CD must be available.

    No mate,you are completely misunderstanding my message.
    When I go to a sites page...maybe,Yahoo news,then sometimes THEY have a place where one can change the font on THEIR web page,when I do that I have problems.:)
