I have an inherited Inspiron 6000 with Windows XP Professional, version 2002, Service Pack 3, Pentium M processor, 1 GB RAM.

I tried to connect the computer to a network printer, but received error message that it couldn't talk to the internet. Research said problem is the firewall. I disabled the firewall, but no change. More research said may be a virus. So, since it was a used computer, I needed to excise any lingering maleware also. So I started the "Windows XP Malware Removal/Cleaning Procedure." I downloaded the tools on one computer and transferred them via thumb drive to this computer.I followed the instructions closely, and it seems to have helped. I can access the internet now.
Now I would like to ensure there is no lingering maleware on this computer.
The requested logs in step 3 of the procedure are attached.

Please rerun Hitman and have it remove everything it found. Do the same with RogueKiller.

Reboot and rescan with both Hitman and RogueKiller and attach the new logs.

Frankly, since XP is no longer supported, I would be cautious of using it for surfing.
