Entertainment Setup?

    Not sure if this is the correct forum,but here goes.
    I have a TV- Net- Phone bundle from my phone company. It is a Optic Cable setup. It is connected to my VCR. I can use my DVD,TV,Net. My problem is I can't use my VCR. Is there some way that I can get my VCR to work?. If I can't use the VCR, I'm thinking about copying my VSH Tapes to DVD's but this would be quite a job. Thanks for any help given.
