I was told you guys are big into challenges. Well I need help with an answer to why i cannot get a consistent wireless signal to connect with my E-pad tablet(made by Light in the Box). I have a Linksys router giving consistent and strong signal to 3 other devices(i-phone,Dell XPS laptop & Mac laptop) successfully. Not however to the epad. I have tried research, I know the problem is aout there being reported. I tried resetting everything from my IP address online, to my in home router. Tried setting my router to Wireless N only and a few other setting changes but the only result was to cut off the otherwise good wireless connection to my other above listed devices.
The epad at first sees my router and other local area connections, but will not stay connected to them. Can you tell me there is a work around so I can get a consistent wireless signal on this Epad? Other than just waiting for the ipad 3?

Try relocating the router up on top of a cabinet. If you have the router buried, or you are too far away, yes you can have problems. Also a lot of problems lie in the device itself.

Thanks a lot Brownizs for the try. I will try some elevation, but I 'm basically right next to the router as it is. You mention the device, the epad, I know is questionable. Do you think a new Belkin router might give me more luck than the 2 year old Cisco/Linksys router that I currently use? Can u or your buddies offer me a solution/workaround based on some real database/ research on this problem. I know it's also probably this device the Epad, (I think that's what you meant),just hoping...

What encryption are you using? Have you tried using a different type or none to see if it makes a difference? Testing purposes only, put the encyrptiion back on after testing.
