Epox EP-8RDA+

I have a friends computer at my house and I'm currently trying to get it up and running.

The post code that I keep getting is the C1 code which has to do with the memory modules. Well as soon as I take it out insert it again I usually get a second code. The first time I did it it gave me error code 26 which is an overclock error. I cleared the CMOS like it said rebooted and it gave me the C1 code again. Ohh by the way I get nothing on the screen at all during the boot and the little light for the hard drive at the front is constantly on. So any way I did the same thing took out the memory module and put it into a different slot. After I did that it gave me code 29. I didn't know how to fix that code error so I just turned it off. When I booted it up again it gave me the C1 code again.

Is it possible that the MB is fried or a memory module is damaged? I was also thinking that the memory might be overclocked and I'm not sure how to fix that.

Any help will be appreciated. I'm not sure what the specs on the processor are do to my inability to get to the bios screen on boot up.

 

The motherboard read out seems to go back to C1 every time. Unfortunately I don't have other memory sticks to swap out except the ones that I already have. I know that they are inserted correctly and I believe they are compatible.

Not sure what else to do.

 

Turned out to be a bad Mother Board. I looked at the capacitors. They were all misshaped and looked dirty. Too bad I decided to look there after trying everything else.
