Epson Stylus C43UX Black Ink cartridge Leaks!

hi again guys, im having trouble with my black ink cartridge.

i recently installed a cartride about 3 months ago and had less than a quarter of ink left which could print about 100 pages till the ink runs out!

i cheked the printer today and there was some black ink inside the printer where it prints?

is this a major issue or would a new cartridege be the best remmedy?

Changing the cartridge would be the first step.
