ePSXe Not working

Hello,

im having some odd problems with 'ePSXe,now ive used it before and ive had no problems what so ever.Although in the past ive used it on my desktop PC with an nvidia graphics card.

How ever at the moment ive put ePSX on my net book which of course has no cd/dvd drive,so i hit the 'run bios' and naturally it said that a cd/dvd drive wasnt detected.So I read on a forum that if i installed alcohol 52% or 120% or any software that installs 'virtual drives'.So i re-did my task of running the bios and this time there was no error related to the drive and it loaded up normally and i even got onto the the old cd player/memory menu.So I went ahead and copied my edition of Final Fantasy 8 as an ISO,and it wouldnt run,i did the same with my edition of final fantasy 9,and still nothing happened.

Any and all idea's would be great.
