Error -1603!!!

    i am trying to load itunes onto my desktop with plenty of space on my hard drive available yet it will not allow me as says there is insufficient space and i need to free some up, anybody have any ideas? (i have used disk clean up and all the obvious ways etc)

    message reads: out of disk space- Volume: 'bin'; required space: 324KB; available space: 0KB

    below this it says i have 50GB available however

    press ok then message reads: Error-: -1603 fatal error during installation

    Please help i'm confused and lacking in music

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    I don't know about "Error - 1603". Try Googling that error message with the name of whatever it is that you're trying to install.

    Meanwhile, make sure that your Recycling and Temp folders haven't grown so large they're taking up the space you're looking for. Windows reports the space taken up by the Recycling folder as free, but the installer may not see it as free.

    You might also get a more helpful answer if you could follow the instructions in the post at the head of the Hardware section entitled "Before You Post Asking For Help, Please Read This".
