Error 1722

    I am getting this on some applications I try to install, error 1722, there is a problem with the Windows Instaler.... Have looked all over the net but cannot find any one thing. It started with Adawre 2007, Rosetta Stone v3.2, Adobe CS3, Microsoft VISIO, and various others. I have ran REGCURE and it said it fixed a bunch of stuff but still didn't fix. Did the JAVA reinstall stuff. Anyone have any similar experiences or fixes? Thanks.

    Hi

    Which Windows version are you using + service pack level?


    Try in case its as simple as this to re-register this file wintrust.dll

    Click start > run and type regsvr32 wintrust.dll
