Error 404 on webpage - HELP!

I am a writer not a programmer. I am trying to connect to the webpage www.iwriter.com. I have an account with them and until the weekend I could access my full account. Now I get the following error:

The requested URL /404_not_found.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


I have contacted their help desk but Help Desk is a loose term they use for dunno! They keep telling me over and over again "The IP "184.173.31.211" is not allowed to be used on iWriter due to previous hacking/spamming actions taken from that IP. Please use the Sympatico network to connect to iWriter, you will be able to use the site from any IP of that ISP (you used that network when you created your account on 2013-03-05)"

I have not changed anything on my end. I use the same computer, the same ISP, the same everything. Can you please help me. I have clients waiting for me to write their online content and I cannot help them.

Essentially what they are telling you is that the IP address allocated to you by your ISP has been used in the past to spam or attack their service. The first thing you can try is to turn your router/modem off and on again to see if you can be allocated another IP address.
