Error: 651 Wan Miniport

Hello, I've been unable to connect to the internet through my broadband (LAN) connection. There's no problem connecting through a wireless connection but I need a faster internet connection. The error window is attached as a screenshot.

I've run the Tweaking.com Windows Repair, and the Communications Internet Repair programs, but the problem persists. I've also tried a variety of other fixes suggested on the internet but am unable to repair this problem.

I'm running Win7 Pro on 64bit.

Could someone suggest a fix?

I started down the to do list and updating the network card driver solved the problem.
