error 80048820 with windows live messenger

i keep getting the following code 80048820 everytime i try login to windows live messenger im wonder how to solve this problem

 

Here is a list of possible solutions. But it really helps to have more information like OS and esp. security software, including firewall. But maybe one of the ideas here will help, just don't download from them. And I assume this is related to MSN messenger? :wave:wave

well i checked out the link given. the solutions didnt solve the problem. i use win 7 and norton 360 for security. I also posted to the microsoft help site. seems like alot of people having the same issue i am having from other posts. a tech replied and say they are looking into it. so i think it may be a flaw in the software.
