Error 9 ATAPI?

    Hey guys,
    So my computer is sporatically freezing up. I checked the Event Viewer and it sais ATAPI- Error 9. The mouse will freezed for about 30 sec.s and then it works again. What could the prob be and how do I fix it?? CPU fan?
