error,case been opened ?

    Hi all, just a quicky. Just put a vid card in & getting error your computercase has been opened, push f1 to continue. Just trying to find out where i can disable that warning ? No big drama but just like my comp to start up normally. Running p4 2.8 with xp pro. Thanks in advance...

    Look in BIOS setup for 'intrusion detection' or some such wording and disable it.

    Hmm, funny that, just recently got that on a HP machine at my friends house. Strange error, i really have no idea how it managed to come to the conclusion that the case had been opened. lol :p

    I did look there first, just relooked everywhere in bios & cant find it anywhere.
    its more annoying than anything :rolleyes: Not sure if this message will stay there for ever? Thanks anyway alanc, if you come across the solution please let me know..CHEERS
