error clarification

    I would like to know what hardware I/O error message means. I am getting that message this am. Thanks

    Post the exact words of the error, including any error codes or numbers.

    Also include
    details of your operating system and brief pc details.
    What hardware or sotware changes have you made lately
    circumstances under which the error occurs (at boot, a particular prog or randomly etc)
