I am trying to copy several .dmg files to a standard flash drive from my mac HDD but it keeps coming up with a window saying "unexpected error has occurred [error code 0]"

I can read an external HDD the files are on from my mac but when i try to read the HDD on a PC the HDD is shown as empty.

On the mac there are two icons that come up when the HDD is connected "DA passport" and "DA passport mac". The files are only in the "DA passport mac"

Any help or reason for it would be great,

    Thanks

If the external HDD is formatted for a Mac, windows won't see it because it is using a different file system.
You need to get a hd that says "works on PCs and Macs".
