error code 2908

I keep getting error code 2908 every time I restart my pc. Anyones help would be appreciated. MS sent me to you. I didn't get this error code until they told me to try to do the dotnetfix.cleanup tool. After I used it I now get this error.
Also I started with a virus on Aug 31. Went to Microsoft support on the phone,
they took over my computer and they were unable to help so they sent me to an online person and he keeps having me try stuff. This all started when I asked the question why won't certain critical updates load or why does it keep saying it hasn't downloaded when one has. This is about to drive me mad.
