Error code ox80242006 in XP Home

I've had this for awhile and I'm wondering how I can fix it. It states that the "Update Windows Genuine Advantage Notification" and the code KB905-474 cannot be installed. Yes I went to update problems at microsoft but couldn't locate the answer to fix this. Figured I'd try here for the answer.

Ok, I went to the linked provided but there is a question I need to ask before I try the suggested procedure ? I noticed that the error codes are the same but the other code (?) is different. Mine is KB905-476 and I noticed that theirs is KB913-476. Will this make a difference or do I need same (KB)? code?

Thank you Tunered the link at mydigitallife worked. I didn't try to go to microsoft link so don't know if it would have worked or not. The issuse is resolved thanks to the Majorgeeks people who provide us with all the resources we need to solve our problems (in the computer sense of course)
