So I was was deleting files from my SD card to make room for some save files for my Nintendo Wii games when I noticed a folder that I had never made on the card.
The name is of the folder is just a random jumble of weird symbols like "Å", "Θ", "Σ", "φ", and lots of empty boxes.
Anyway, I tried to delete the file to no avail; I just keep getting:

    Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disc.

The folder cannot be renamed, and it apparently takes up 41.4 GB (Wha?! But my SD card only has 482 MB, how is that even possible?! rolleyes ) and has 24 folders and 29 files inside of it. As for the Archive and Read-Only properties; it doesn't matter if I un-check their boxes or not because they're always re-checked when I go back in.

I went and searched for a while and found some links to the "Unlocker" and "Pocket Kill Box" programs on this site, but neither of them were able to delete the folder.
I found a way to use the Command Prompt that supposedly works, but I'm not really the most computer literate person ever or anything and I don't want to chance ruining something.

And so, I ask you, the collective smart techie-persons of the MajorGeeks Support Forums; what can I do to remove this stupid thing from my SD card?
Are there any other programs on here that will delete this, or is there an easy step-by-step guide using the command prompts that I could follow that I haven't found?
I patiently await your collective reply.
    Thanks in advance. ;)

    Hi

    Try one of the following

    1. Boot to Safe Mode and try, not always a SD card may read tho in Safe Mode
    2. MoveOnBoot
    3. LockHunter

Could you copy the data you want to save from that card to your PC, then format the SD card to the same file format its at now be that FAT, FAT32, NTFS or as I dont knwo what the Wii.s format is rigth click the SD cards icom in My Computer and look for file format.

Thanks for the reply Halo. :)

1.Safe Mode didn't work; I tried it just before you posted.
    2. I'll try it next, I'm downloading it as I type.
    -EDIT-
'EMCO MoveOnBoot' requires the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed. The setup cannot continue.
Is that something important that I should have?
    3. Lock Hunter was unable to delete or unlock it, I'm still stuck.

If I have no alternative choice I suppose that I could do that, but I was kind of hoping that there'd be something a little faster than that. :(

Hey gig, to copy all the files and format the card will only take a few minutes, and you will spend most of that waiting for files to transfer.
