Error downloading PC Inspector...need help!

While trying to install the PC Inspector Smart Recovery I keep getting the error message "The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open".
What I am trying to do on my PC is try to recover picture files from a memory stick that was formatted. Long story short, I reformatted someones memory stick before the pictures were saved to a cd by accident. UGH.
I have Windows XP.

 

I solved it....I stopped my resident shield in AVG. But if someone has any better ideas on how to recover thise pictures...feel free to post!
