Error! help

    hi, whenever i try to install a game I get this error;" an I/0 error occurred while installing a file. this is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file"
    this is really frustrating! I hope that someone can help me....
    The problem occurred when I had my pc formatted. I've got a pentium 4 with 524 MBRAM

    Try This


    restart Windows in Safe Mode
    disable Norton Antivirus
    Scandisk & defrag
    uninstall and reinstall the software.
