Error in Yahoo! Messenger 9

Hello! I'm currently have Yahoo! Messenger 9, the latest version for Y!M. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1.

Whenever I'm starting Yahoo! Messenger, meaning logging in. I always get this message:

Please try again later. (81003004)​

This are the things that I've already tried:

1. Have a clean installation of YM 9
2. Reinstall the older version of YM 8. Clean installation.
3. Change the Connection Preferences.

All of this things didn't work still getting the error.

Can anyone please help me? I would be glad if you do.

For Vista users it is so buggy Yahoo is giving up on it and are no longer trying to fix it apparently.

You need to remove version 9 completely first to get version 8 to work best.Left over files and fragments from using Control Panel> Add & Remove Programs to remove messenger can cause problems/conflicts with the new download.

Try this method: Start> My Computer> C drive> Program files. Next open Yahoo folder then Messenger folder. Click on UNWISE to uninstall messenger 9 completely. Do not just delete yahoo file as this can cause problems with other Yahoo programs.

 

I did all the things you told me but I'm still getting the error even in YM 8.

 

Can anyone please help me solve this problem?
