I have just gone through the malware removal read me. Now when I start up, I get a message saying "engine. error loading driver 1060". I hit ok and the system starts up. How do I stop the error appearing? Thanks.

Right click "My Computer", select "Manage", and then look at the Event Viewer under both the Applications section and the System section. For details, right click on any event you want and select 'Properties'. You can copy and paste details from any listing by using the little 'copy' symbol I've highlighted below. Use this to copy any relevant info into a text (Notepad) file, and attach it to a future post.

(I'm assuming you're using Windows XP)

yes, I am using xp - sorry. I have uninstalled outpost firewall, ran ccleaner clean as well as registry issue scan and that seems to have stopped the driver error coming up. There are 3 errors repeating quite regularly in the manager console. Application error 3090 and service errors 7022 and 7034. Notepads attached. Could any of these be causing my outlook 2007 issue? It wont open in normal mode, only in safe mode. I have posted this in software but haven't been able to resolve it as yet.

    Thanks for your help

I had a strong feeling it was due to Outpost firewall, but you didn't mention it eariler, so I didn't suggest cleaning it out. Anyway, your problem is a known issue. The Outpost uninstall was corrupted and incomplete (probably caused by the malware). You should run a quality registry cleaner (CCleaner is popular and safe) and reboot. If that doesn't help, you can try a full re-install of Outpost, then uninstall it again. If that doesn't help, you may have to manually search the registry for all Outpost entries, and for Agnitum entries (I think that's who makes Outpost) and manually remove them all. When I have more time, I'll take a close look at the errors you attached and see if there's anything there. In the meantime, try the Outpost stuff I suggested, and hopefully someone else will come along with some additional info ;) Good luck!
