error message ordinal 574

:confused When I go to windows live mail I get a pop up says "the ordinal 574 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll"
I can get into live mail, my mail is downloaded but when I attempt to read the mail, I get the same "the ordinal 574 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll"
I went to safe mode, ran cmd, then sfc /scannow, said there were files repaired, I restart, same problem. On startup it said it was installing repaired but no change.
When I F8 for optional startup, it comes up with "repair your computer" highlighted, I am not familiar with this utility, WHAT IS IT, WHAT DOES IT DO?

I use Mozilla Firefox instead of Windows Internet Explorer
I attempted to download several utilities but I cannot download anything
I have 2 drives, one is clone BUT A NUMBER OF MONTHS OLDER THAN CURRENT OPERATING DRIVE, clone has (iertutil.dll 1,793,024 bytes) in windows/system32, operating drive has (iertutil.dll 1,792,000 bytes)
I attempted to copy the (iertutil.dll 1,793,024 bytes) to the operating drive but I cannot remove the write protection.

What version of Windows Live Mail are you running, 2011 (v15.4.3555) or 2012 (v16.4.3505)?
