I get this error message when I restart my computer. What is it and how do I get rid of it.

this is a microsoft error. part of visual java ++. i have had this error before from installing visual studio and then removing it. if you go to c:\windows\system32 you can delete wvjiew.exe and not get the error again. the program that used it, will need to be reinstalled should you desire to use it again.

I was getting same error message on my windows 2000 machine at boot up. I found the solution in the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

There was an app listed that used wjview.exe command line. I had already removed the app, but this entry was still in the registry. Issue was resolved when I deleted the entry.

You may want to check this path or search your registry for a similar entry.

go to the following link and that should help you out

    Start | Run | regedit | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr
    entVersion\Run and remove the entry.

I ask this question of a few other people as well and got your answer and this one. I used this one and it worked for me.
I think it has something to do with the Lime-ware program I installed. I got rid of some things that were attached. Icons for other things I didn't want that came with Lime-ware. Is that possible?

    Thanks for the help. :)
