    "ERROR: No physical disks found"
this is the message Bootkit Remover shows :(

I used this program for remove Whistler / Black Internet (with "%userprofile%\Desktop\remover.exe" fix \\.\PhysicalDrive0), everything worked, then I rebooted.
After the reboot windows (xp, sp3) tell me it find new hardware that needs a reboot to start properly (or something like that, I don't remember well).
So I controled with Bootkit Remover and MBRCheck too, to see if the bootkit was disabled, and they show this error.
Also it seems I don't have anymore administrator privileges, Comodo Firewall doesn't start Defense+, and I'm scared to restart the pc (maybe that new hardware found would be my saviour, but also the pc could not boot anymore!).
    What can I do? :cry

Sorry to bump, I can't understand how to edit my opening post.

I think all the problem are due to lack of administrator privileges.
Anyone know if those programs show that messages starting them with VERY limited privileges (it seems I can't do many things..)?

How can I see my current account option?
How can I regain my account?

Well...restarting it solved the problem, I hope it won't show up anymore. :-o

    Hi

Cheers for the update on the restart helping with the error message, however if you have malware or had malware and while it may not be showing all of the components or issues now, you may still have some components of malware left on your PC, so best course of action to rule out similar malware reapearing again quickly and to give yourself a bit of peace of mind is to run the below.

and start a new thread in the malware forum and have one of our expert malware removal specialist review the logs and give you an all clear.

Thank you, I'll do it, but actually now I'm more concerned about take again the virus (I started my external HD when I had the virus), but maybe now Nod32 will block it. :boxing

    Hi

You can run the likes of your Antivirus, Malwarebytes and Superantispyware on the external HDD to double check that device too, just in case it has some suspect files or downloads.

For Malwarebytes, click Full Scan and it will list your HDDs etc and just tick the one you need to scan. Superantispyware just click Scan and it will list the drives available to scan.
