"Error on Page" Error in Explorer

Hi all, this is my first post... probably of many.
First off, I would like to say thank you to everyone on here for helping out. It is great what you guys are doing, and very appreciated.

Ok my problem is this: About a week ago, I started getting a "error on page" error, in the bottom left corner of my browser when certain pages finish loading. There is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on it in the bottom left corner, where the little blue "e" is usually.

Specifically, it has been happening on ebay.com, in the "My Ebay" page. When I click on the the exclamation point on the bottom of the page, it says this:

Error: 'ebay' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://my.ebay.com/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?MyeBay

Also sometimes in Hotmail the same error will occur and I will not be able to click on certain hyperlinks. Or even worse, the page will load wrong, and the spacing will be messed up, fonts will be wrong and sized wrong. Another example within Hotmail is that in a message that I have from Newegg.com, loads like this:

This goes on for the whole message, with certain words standing out, like "Invoice" for example above.
When I open the message on another computer, it comes up correctly, as an invoice, with color and everything.

I think it may be that I have a javascript error (?)

Also of note, not sure if this has anything to do with the problem, but my internet stops working radomly sometimes. I will be working on a page, then click on a link, and the link wont load. I need to go into Network connections and right-click on the bridge that I have, and select repair, in order to have the internet work still.

Background info:

Dell Inspiron 5150
XP SP2
Connected to a college LAN

I have every update recommended by Windows.

Ray- I followed all those steps, and as of now it took care of the error on page error. Thanks.

I still have my other problem with the weird script on the page.----

Found in a hotmail message.

Any ideas about that issue?

That looks like someone, whoever sent you the message, did it wrong, I don't think that issue is a problem with your PC

 

Hope so- that would be such a relief! Thanks for directing me over to the other thread. It has helped with problems I didnt know I had!
