Error Processing Message with Yahoo!Messenger Set Up

Oh, sorry, I screwed up my last thread (double pasting part of it), so it that gets through, ignore it.

Hello! I'm new here and hope I'm in the right forum for this question. I am hoping you knowledgeable guys can help me.

My OS is XP - the system is pretty new and home built by a friend.

Part 1: I clicked on the iTunes plug-in in Yahoo! Messenger the other day and I got a runtime message and dialog box asking me if I wanted to debug. Clicking "yes" brings up the script window, but I didn't know what to do there, because I'm a bit scared of mucking with code, so I uninstalled Messenger instead.

Part 2: But now, in trying to reinstall, I get

Error Processing Message Parameters c0000013 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c

with each wizard window/dialog box.

It takes above 5 Cancel clicks to actually abort the installation, although I think I could probably go through the wizard.

I ran CCleaner hoping it would fix it but no joy.

I would really appreciate any advice (on Part 2) you might be able to offer and please let me know if you need any more information. I'm not sure about what would be relevant to provide, and don't want to "ramble on".
