I'm not really sure how to explain this I've never gotten the problem before I know the problem doesn't only appear when I try to download call of duty 4 it's happened when I tried to download other games. I got a couple of error logs hopefully you guys will be able to fine out a solution to. Also here's another image maybe this will provide more of a in depth solution

    Hi

What Service Pack is your Windows at and I will assume its Windows XP (judging by the windows posted in the screenshots)?

What DirectX version are you using? can click Start > Run and type dxdiag and hit enter to find out, if its not directx 9c then download and install it HERE

If as your error messages state you are having DirectX 10 issues, and you are running Windows XP then you will continune to have these issues as DirectX 10 is not Windows XP compatible, it was a hack and in some cases works but in the main not, so uninstall it and then make sure your DirextX is at 9c and try again with the games.

If you are running Vista, and using a theme skin for it to look like WinXP then install Directx 9c above as DirectX10 and Win7's Dx11 need for some games some dlls from Directx9

Where are you downloading the games from?

Yes, I do have win xp, I did check the dxdiag and it's confirmed that I have DirectX 9, I'm downloading my games from warez-bb the games are in ISO format. I've downloaded many games from that site and never had the problem. I just went to the Display tab on the Direct X Diagnostic Tool
" DirectX Files Tab: No problems found.
Display Tab 1: The file ati2dvag.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.
Sound Tab 1: The file ALCXWDM.SYS is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.
    Music Tab: No problems found.
    Input Tab: No problems found.
Network Tab: The registry information for the service provider 'DirectPlay8 Serial Service Provider' is missing or damaged. You should reinstall DirectX. You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version. Problems were found in the system registry. Details are available in the saved text file." Forgot to mention I'm using service pack 3.

Hi as you are using warez software Majorgeeks as it does not condone the use of such software cannot help you in this issue I'm afraid, this is a commercial site and not a hobby site/forum so has to abide by IP and Copyright laws.

    So I'm afraid topic closed.
