Hi, I've been reading this forum for a little bit but didn'r join because I thought I was problem free.

I have this issue where some sites will send me to Errorplace.com. I read the sticky about this and tried all the fixes there. Notta, I figured I'd look at the HiJackThis! log see if I could figure it out and couldn't see anything... But you guys are the pros, See anything in here that could be causing this redirecting ?

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.2
Scan saved at 8:09:37 AM, on 9/5/2004
    Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600)
    MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 (6.00.2600.0000)

I'm running WinXP Pro, using a Router with a firewall and Something from my ISP called Freedom (anti-virus/firewall/pop-up blocker/semi-useless it seems..)

    Thanks in advance.

You did not do all the items in the READ ME FIRST sticky. I can tell that just from looking at your improperly & unrequested HJT log. You have not even gone to Windows Update to get updates (get WinXP SP1 but do not install WinXP SP2 ) and you have not run the online scanners.

We have guidelines about posting HJT log that must be followed.

Please follow ALL the steps in this Sticky thread < READ ME FIRST: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal >

If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

Make sure your run the online scans too. You have some trojans. Also run the below:
    Trojan Scan: http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/
Rav Antivirus: http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/ <---- select Auto Clean and then click Scan My PC
    McAfee Avert Stinger: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4063.html

NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.

After running EVERYTHING above, you should read the tutorial in this Sticky thread < Hijack This Tutorial And How To Post Your Log File >

Now close ALL running programs including your web browser, e-mail, items in the tray. Then run HijackThis and create a new log. Post the new HijackThis log as a .txt file attachment to your message. (NO INLINE LOGS ARE ALLOWED).

By the way you should uninstall Zero Knowledge. It's name tells you everything you need to know about them. Get Avast or AVG both available on MG's and both are free.
