Ethernet device drivers?

I recently did an new install of Windows XP pro Sp3 on an older computer for my wife to use for little things like word processing and playing some of her fav web based games. However much to my dismay Windows does not have the driver for the Ethernet device on her computer... it is not a separate card it is the build in one. Problem.... this computer is completely blank... nothing to give me an idea of where to go to get the drivers for it..... anyone at all help me find out what drivers I need to get this up and running online. In device manager it sees the Ethernet device but says no drivers.

Try this: download and install Everest, a free system information tool.

Run Everest and click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose System Summary Only > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report
Click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post per these instructions: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post.

 

Thanks for replying. I would like to say with a little more paying attention I noticed it gave the motherboard company and make in the start up screen. >_< I feel so noob. Anyways I copied the names down and did a little internet digging and came up with the drivers. installed them and they work.. again thank you for replying....I just wished I looked a little deeper before I bothered you folks >_<
