Ethernet for Compaq

Hello. I have a Compaq CQ60-215DX. Where can I go to download an Ethernet connection for and put in on a DVD since I can not directly download an internet connection on this affected laptop? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. But how do I transfer this info onto my laptop that has no connection? I tried putting this onto a DVD but when I tried to download this onto my laptop it said I needed a connection to download. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Here is a direct link to the driver; click it and the download dialog will open. The driver is for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

When the download has finished, you will have a file called sp38873.exe. You'll need to copy this file to the PC that needs the driver. You can burn it to a CD, use a USB flash drive drive, whatever. Then drag-n-drop it from the CD or flash drive to the PCs desktop. Remove the CD or flash drive and double click the file. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver and restart the PC when the install has finished.
