I've tried to do everything that the spybot forum suggest so my wife can sign on to www.iwon.com and I even went into the registry and removed any reference to iwon.com but still can't sign in at iwon.com
I did remove any reference to iwon.com in the restricted website under internet options.
The following is re-occuring in the reg but I don't know if this is the problem or not.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\iwon.com\ This shows up in the iwon.com folder ab(Default) REG_SZ (valut not set)

Anyone know why I still can not sign on to iwon.com???

Right now the problem is only that the computer won't go to that site, but the real problem starts when you bypass the protection that's been installed on your PC and you go to a site that's known to contain malware.... then the malware downloads itself onto your PC and starts infecting it, then you've REALLY got problems.
Then in a few days or a week you'll be back here, maybe not even on your infected computer, wanting someone to fix your infected computer for you.

Get smart.................don't go to known BAD web sites.

    :cool

i don't think that the problem is accessing the site, as i have just accessed the origional link, i think the problem is logging in,

i agree about the 'bad websites' bit, but i think its not usefull in this case

I don't think that the www.iwon.com website is considered a bad web site. It's something my wife wants to visit for the games and she uses it for email.
I can get to that website http://home.iwon.com/iwon-homepage/home.jhtml but it seems to be missing things from it. Doesn't look the same and when I try to sign in it takes me to another page and I get this notice at the top.

Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not dissplay correctly. Click yere for options...

I click on that line for the options and the line turns a darker color but no options show up. Any idea what I should do?

Just tried there myself and the site I ended up at wasn't even what you are showing. I ended at
    http://iwon.com/home/home.jhtml
From there went to register with no problems.
Sounds like you are being redirected.

I just tried using firefox. So, spybot originally made it so I couldn't sign in on iwon.com. Now,eve after uninstalling spybot I still can't sign on to iwon.com
    What's up with that ?

I tried again with firefox (after updating java) and can now sign in to www.iwon.com , which makes my wife happy. Don't understand why I can't use windows explorer and sign on though. So, what is another good anti spy ware program since I can't use spybot on this computer (my wife's computer that is).

I currently use several.SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes for scanning.
SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard watches in front for anything that tries to enter.
Make sure of your antivirus and firewall also.

Go to tools and you will see spybot search and destroy configuration in the tool box. click on it and it will tell you that it is blocking all pages silently. i have been tryng to remove it for weeks. just click on the setting and tell it to ask you which programs to block.
