Hello- I'm hoping I can get some help here with some issues in Event Viewer. First, some system info: Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64,

    avast! Internet Security 2015.

I was trying to find a User Manual for my 1968 Ariens Sno Thro snowblower, searched online, clicked this link and got hit with some adware/malware.

After some effort, we got it all removed but things weren't quite working well with avast!. First, I do my banking on avast! Safe Zone browser, but now when I

click the icon in the taskbar, the browser opens and has a message stating "Safe Zone cannot read and write to its data directory- 'c:\sfzone_profile'".

And then there's the issues within Event Viewer (attached are copies of the details):

Event 1530 User Profile Service (Warning)

    Event 6000 Winlogon (Warning)

    Event 8193 System Restore (Error)

We certainly would appreciate any help with these issues, and we thank you, in advance.

    Kind Regards-

    tim

Thanks for the reply, '_nullptr'... Indeed, we did all of that- and more.

I called avast! Support and got the round around about how my registry's all

messed up, and how I need to buy this $179/yr. expert technical service, blah,

blah, blah... you know that drill!...there's nothing wrong with my registry.

Anyway, avast! has admitted in response to a ticket I generated that the

Safe Zone prog is buggy, in agreement with the varied input on the avast!

    forum- here's their response:

    Dear Tim,

Thank you for contacting Avast Software and apologies for the inconvenience you are having with SafeZone.

We are soon releasing a new version of Avast 2016, SafeZone will be completely replaced by SafeZone browser in this version. This version should be work alongside with Malwarebytes as

    well.

Could you please wait until the new version is available for public? It should be available within this week.

You may learn more about the upcoming version and download release candidate version here: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=178549.0

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If I can be any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me again.
