EventId 4226 in Windows Vista Home Premium x64 while using BT (Azureus)

I posted this over at HardOCP but I thought I might come here and try to get some help too... help here might also help anyone else in the same situation.

I'm getting a ton of 4226 errors while running bittorrent, despite having throttled my max connections per torrent down to 40 and my max global connections to 80 In Azureus. There's no problem with the speed, but that's the problem... on a good tracker with a lot of seeders, I exceed my max connections and my internet dies altogether in minutes. I look in the event viewer and I see 4226 errors every time I disconnect.

The invariably say the same thing:
"TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts."

I got the same problems in XP, but I know there was a patch for it. I don't think there's one in Vista yet. Is there a solution around this in Vista, or some setting I haven't tried in Azureus yet?






EDIT: Switched to mu-torrent and everything seems to be okay... so far.
