Ever felt too geeky?

OK, so this evening I finally out-geeked myself I think.

Let me lay down a little back story to give the right image.

A few weeks ago, I got a new 55" Samsung hi def yada yada (read as BIG TV). This replaced my 27" Philips that was in the living room. As I have had 3+ weeks of crazy crap, culminating in a pageant last Saturday, I spent this week getting some clean up done and settling things from the living room into their new places.

2 Days ago, I moved the 27" TV into my office. Mind you, my office is a converted porch, that i ran power too from 2 seperate circuits via extension cords and all that. Well, I sat it on top of my small filing cabinet (which is on top of a small credenza) and popped a pair of rabbit ears on it.

Wanting to have something other than the 4 broadcast channels, I was trying to figure out how I would locate some coax to run it back to my office from the bedroom (about 50+ feet). I had a couple random pieces of coax and some double female barrels laying around, but it didn't add up to enough to make it. So I was looking around behind my other half's desk in the bedroom, and I noticed that there was a whole crudload of slack behind there (all neatly bundled and wrapped of course) so I pulled that section out and replaced it with one of the shorter ones I had laying around and put a splitter in as well, and suddenly, I had enough to get back to my office (with a screw gun, some screws and some perseverance, I managed to make it stay up at the ceiling level too) and now I have cable in my office.....


Now, I feel like I may be a little too geeky... LMAO!!

Thought you might all like a good laugh whilee I sit here watching The Incredibles on whatever channel I stopped on.
