Ever had an office affair?

Having worked as a sailor for a few years... Trust me, what they say about sailors is true, and a female one is a catch, don't even have to step ashore to smooch her up... So yes, I have had my fair share of interesting events.

A memorable one was after a very wild party at the shipowner's where I worked, I ended up in the captain's cabin on one of their sailing vessels (the ship was docked for the winter) together with the first mate.

Around 8am I woke up and decided to make a fast and silent exit, but as I was climbing out, a voice came from the berth... "I thought that was a man's job, not a woman's"... Doing what? I asked. "To leave in the morning without saying goodbye".

I worked at the student union when I studied. We once had a toga party on one of our pub-nights. During that event I was caught together with my date in the closet where towels for the restaurant were kept... The poor busboy went to my superior and told her he couldn't get his apron "because someone was there". Luckily she had a sense of humour!

I once had to hide the first mate on another ship in my berth as a workmate stormed in, in the middle of the night, to talk about a problem. I didn't want her to know I had company...

Aah, so many good memories. These are probably the funniest ones though.

- I think I miss being single. Always a lot of fun. On the other hand... -always ending up with a huge mess somehow...

Define "office". When I worked in an actual office, never. However, had the question been "have you had an affair with a co-worker", then I would have to take off my socks to count that high.

Wait...are we defining "affair" as being with a married person or being married ourselves? If so, then no.

Oh, I didn't even consider that. If we're talking about "affair" as being unfaithful, then NO applies to me as well.

 

Well, I've never been married (I don't like anyone that much) So if we reword the question to "Have you ever messed around with anyone at work" Yes, when I was a teenager. It gets boring when you have kids and a life because it's just one more thing to bother with.

But boy... the walk in cooler got quite a show when I was younger...

Anyway, it's a bad Idea. I was on the other end of it though... my ex BF and I got into a fight, so he thought it would be a good idea to F--- my coworker and then lie to us both. It got real ugly real fast and it's a bad bad idea.

Oh gods yes. I don't know if I can count that high. I have to admit tho, I only actually 'dated' a coworker once, and I will NEVER do that again.

As to the unfaithful part... nope. As much as I may have had multiple 'partners' (not gender specific there I know) at any given time, everyone I 'dated' knew that I was not with them exclusively and were OK with it. For the last 5 years tho... I have turned into one of those boring loyal types... LOL

Although, being a house husband has it's benefits too

Wouldn't while attached anyway plus the men I worked with were mostly gay, loved em to death but thats it.
