Woah.. I dont know if this is a problem, or not but.. I just got this Evercool Water cooling system WC-202. I only have a ANTEC 300W PSU.

Here's everything thats in my PC.

    2 cdrom drives
    2 HDD's (Seagate 160GB, Maxtor 120GB)
Nvidia GeForce 4000 MX 128MB DDR AGP
    Soundblaster Live! 24-Bit soundcard
    A 2.20Ghz processor
    CPU Fan, Case Fan
    Power switch
1GB of CORSAIR Value select RAM
And all those other little things on the Motherboard
Oh yea, the Motherboard.. ASUS A7N8X-LA (Explorer 4)
CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP, 2250 MHz (11 x 205)
    CPU Alias: Barton

Can I RUN the water cooling kit with the 300watter, or upgrade?
and does a PSU effect your PC's overall performence?
My friend said if a i got a 500W+ (not a cheap one) that it would be like having a whole new system..

While a larger capacity PSU will allow more hardware to be added, its not going to increase any system speeds etc,

300W could well be borderline with adding another peice of hardware but the water pump on the watercooler only used 2W of power hardly going to tax your PSU ( unless your on the limits with the hardware you have installed already )

much info plus nifty guide to install

Hmmm, I just bought a new LED fan for the radiater, i havnt installed the water cxooling system yet, waiting on my new psu. But anyways, the fan connects to the power supply, the 4 prong regualr ones like that connect to your hdd, i cant monitor with fan with speed fan. Like i could if it was connected to the mobo, anyone know why?

The Molex connector for the fan ( the 4 pin HD type ) doesnt have a RPM speed sensor, like the small 3 pin motherboard type fan wires/connectors ( black, red and yellow wires )

As for the clip, your mobo is an AMD K7 platform type.

Sorry to barge in Halo just came accross this pic while browsing,if the clips are like 99% of all hose clips they will look like these 'on the right' which you can open with your fingers or a pair of pliers

    Cool gotcha Rikky, cheers mate,

Metalist the ones I suggested like the ones on the left will do you just as good as the ones on the right or possibly just a pair of pliers will aide in opening or closing the spring clip type.

Its not either one of those, they got little wholes in the clips, made just for the tool and crap..

It's just a snap ring/snap ring's & tool available at most hardware & automotovie stores.
IMO makes poor clamp for Liquid/tubing, prone to splitting your tubing.
