Hi Wenchie! Hot as blazes here in Houston but tolerable thanks to A/C. Just beginning hurricane season. Knock on wood, no bad ones in store. Hope all's well in your neck of the woods.

 

Hot and humid! I thought north Louisiana was bad…. Not looking forward to the August heat.

But damn, was that Summer Game Fest a lot of rubbish last night?

High 90s, twice 100+ that I know of. I do most of my sleeping during the daytime hours. I live in a mobile home. The central
ac doesn't work. I have the money to fix it, but the greedy AC bastards will NOT see a penny until they stop the horrible pricing. I bought 3 portable ac units at an estate sale. One in my bedroom, one in my entertain room ( TV/ DVD/ Computer room) One in the living room

 

I feel you on that. They wanted over $3k to fix my ac. Window units work just fine thank you!

Now if they would fix the fifth floor ac I would be thrilled. Got a portable ac yo in here so I can sleep!

 

I feel yeah i had to buy a portable AC unit for the second floor.The first floor has a AC unite outside but the problem in this house is there are only two vent's and they don't get enough air movement from the basement.Desktops and heat don't mix very well.

 

Just wondering if the inventor of the A/C has been made a saint yet? And if not, why?

That brought a smile to my face. It's a pity these sheepfold lurking on gaming forums never bite the hand that feeds them the slop, so to speak. This is why YouTubers are my go to people for honest opinions on gaming, or another topic. Some people are even proving that modern music is terrible because of the tone, the pitch, or whatever they are referring to when explaining how that garbage is produced.

Although shills are an issue anywhere online, or off of it for that matter.

 

I personally don't take the opinion of anyone profiting in any way from providing to me, positive or negative. Are they being paid for the likes? Are they being paid to stir up trouble? Either way, their opinion is soiled. So, if, for example, a youtuber with 32 followers provided me their opinion of a game, I'd be more apt to consider it than one with several million, even if the person with millions was not being paid directly by the company, because they are, regardless, being paid.

 

Have had it bad with hay fever for the last couple of days. I thought I was gonna avoid it this summer, as it seemed to start late for me. It usually affects me from June until near the end of July.

On Wednesday, it was chronic, because I did not know about the so-called pollen bomb on the news; I was glad to get back to my flat.

 

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I have 99 problems but I'm lucky that this isn't one.
