EVGA e-GeForce 6200 Graphics Card

Hey All

I want to get ready for Vista and I need a better video card. I found this inexpensive one, EVGA e-GeForce 6200 Graphics Card AGP 8X, at Circuit City for $40. A serious gamer probably wouldn't ever consider it, but I don't do any gaming to speak of. I just do web surfing and business apps, so I'm sure it will meet my needs.

I would like to know if anyone out there has had any experience with this card or others from EVGA.

hi there mate, heres a review page you might like to have a look see. its a Tech Report. the card looks good for pics and stuff like that, without a dought. they make it in mind for down sizeing cheaper good graphics with the not to gamie kinda guy in mind. That card will do just fine for Vista but, like you said, it would suck for gaming

 

I have 3 eVGA cards in my house, no problems with any of them. 2 are 5200's and one 6200. All have 128 Megs of memory and I have been able to run HL2, and Quake 4 on mild settings without problems.

 

Thanks to everyone for your input. I went and bought the card but haven't opened the box. Guess I'll think about it a few more days, maybe return it.
