    hello

where does microsoft windows 98 se with the last version of internet explorer save the history, dialogs, last visited websites, the "address bar"?

is there anyway to remove this info with evidence eliminator, i use evidence eliminator but it does not remove that, i can remove custum folders/files and remove contents of files, maybe there is a way to remove that, or is that information saved in the registry?

    bye

if you just want to get rid of the visited URLs just clear the history, go to tools/internet options/ and under history hit the clear history button

You can also adjust the "Days to keep pages in history" at that same location.

EE does it but all that info is in the .dat files and they cannot be cleared while in use. In other words you must log off or restart. I assume what you mean is that sometimes you run EE and can still find URL history and typed URL's in the address bar? Try running EE and then restarting all should clear then.
Beyond that you can turn off the auto complete in IE options/privacy.

Personally I use EE for deep cleaning and the cleanup for daily/hourly use.
EE takes forever on XP when you run a full session. I mean like hours, never did that with 98.

Hi thing my own experience of evidence eliminator was not that good.I found it to be to extreme in its cleaning and make the computer unstable so be careful when using it

Like Nick I find EE a bit too agressive and to that end use East Tec Eraser http://www.majorgeeks.com/download730.html

EE will do what you need if you read the help and support pages.. but I find ETE a better and easier app to use.
