ew vista red x for some images

their not everywhere, just some sites,
other people not haveing problem on same site, just me.
tried the regedit gif jpg fix I found here and it didnt work
any other ideas?
help?

 

Are you using Internet Explorer? Are the other computer users using the same OS and browser? Can you mention one of the sites where you have this problem?

 

im using IE 7, it is the www.runescape.com website I click existing user then high detail then choose best world for me and the loging box shows the red x and I cant log in cause there is nothing there but the blank box. I have used that site even with vista around 2 weeks ago and it was fine. Not now.

 

I updated my java and my flashplayer, and nope, neither worked.
got any other ideas?
and yes it says in the IE tools to allow Java and gives the new version, there is a check in the box and I rebooted and nothing.
Help?

 

I see that site has their own forum. You might try it. Go to http://forum.runescape.com/forums.ws

 

Thank you, turns out it was a java problem, they have a spot to choose which java program you are using to make it compatable. Thanks for sending me there. I fixed it.
It wasn't in the forum but at the bottom of one of the sign in pages.
