Excel 2003

This is really odd!!!!!!!!!!

Up to today my excel was working fine...

Scenario:

Field date is displayed in
YYYYMMDD but I am using it as date because I add a certain # of days to it.

so my date is in column D.
Suppose row = 5

My formula in colum E =d5+42

Only E5 is calculated. All other Rows = E5
If I click on any of the rows below they are re-calculated to the correct value.

Also if I click on for examply E17 the formula = D17+42 but the cell value displays E5.
Anyone ever run into something like this. I am executing queries generated with Excel concatonate function and uploading it to our live database. I cannot allow for these errors to occur. Please help me!!!
