I have an excel document that when I access it, my pc goes blank a second then when it comes back my desktop items and toolbars no longer display in a sharp image. The program works and takes any added info I place in it, but the desktop "blur" (for lack of better description) does not go away until I close the excel program.
I did have another word document created by cutting and pasting info from a cd, but it would not allow me to access but the first page of 60+ pages, so I just deleted it.
I have done all the Read and Run stuff for any malicious monsters, and now have been advised to post here to get help.

Here is my system info as best as I understand how to send it to ya. Computers is not my strong point, but here goes.
    Thanks, James

It could be your Video drivers causing the problems. Have you updated them recently (can check if you are unsure in Hardware for the device)?

I don't think I made it quite clear enough, I don't know much bout these machines.
Check in what Hardware for what device? I need a little more info here.
The only thing I can find that might have anything to do with video is an NVIDIA deal in my control panel that is supposedly tied to the desktop, am I on the right track?

Like I stated, it is most likley a driver issue. End of subject.

Have you completed your latest Windows Updates, especially look in the Office section!

Your sys info didn't come up. Right Click on My Computer > select Properties will lead you to system properties > select Hardware tab (top tag) > left click Device Manager as name states > expand Display Adapters and double left click on your video card (look at image!!!).

This will give you an option to trouble shoot but there is also a Driver tab, post what sort of Video Adapter you have and the current driver version. Will find whether there is an update for you or not.

Thank you Bold Eagle. Sorry about being short on the last post, but had to do something during. It is either Driver, A/V software, or a printer poll that can cause the hesitation with Microsoft Office. Because you are getting the blurring, that is leaning more towards a Video Driver issue.
