Excel Keeps Freezing!!! Help me before I kill!! (the pc)

On a co-workers computer every time excel is opened and edited and saved it freezes and wont save, wont even close..not even with task manager. I cant even restart the computer, I have to manually shut it down to get rid of the program.

I've fixed this problem twice before just by running the anti-virus (pc-cillin 2007) it never finds anything but for some reason it makes it work.. but i cant keep doing that.. has to be a reason that this just started happening.

I've tried downloading updates, running excels program repair and recovery and nothing seems to work!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! :cry

 

I would do a full reinstallation in this case, especially considering you have to do a "dirty" shutdown to correct it. Good chance of corruption doing that.

 

Your co-workers excel has become corrupted....if running from a network server it needs to be removed from both ends and reloaded.
