Excessive page pool and program handles

already typed this post and firefox crashed. arrgh.

anyway. hopefully someone can help me with this issue with paged and non paged pool usage

note: paged and non paged pool is not virtual memory and paging file.

I have a server that is crashing every few days due to running out of paged pool and non paged pool memory

I have been monitoring it for two days since it was brought to my attention.
The server was booted fresh and i have found an issue with one program.

STATUS~1.exe
This program is a printing program that the sites HP printer needs to run according to google.

Anyway after 2 days this process is using 870k of paged and 5-7k of non paged memory. It also has 107,000 handles created.

Yesterday the process was using 400k of paged memory and only had 50,000 handles

At boot time it had around 220k of paged memory and only a few thousand handles.

An instance of this program is created everytime someone remotely connects to the server and does not log out properly. People login alot and connections are left open so this program crashes the server quicker for every person that connects.

Any idea what i can do here apart from getting the site to logout and log back in every few days to relaunch this program?

 

does anyone where have any idea. come on. a bit of technical help would be nice.

Do you have a full file name? I'd check first - to see if it is really needed to be running and second - to see if there is an updated version.
